Ryan has served Tabletop Game Designers Australia (TGDA), the national industry association, as NSW Representative (2024–2025) and Vice President (2025–2026).
In 2024, he proposed a restructure to help professionalise and grow the organisation, and continues to work on strengthening TGDA and supporting the growth of the Australian tabletop design community and industry.
